Dear Amnesty friends,
1. For the time being, we are suspending regular AI Group 76 meetings and directing our support to the Pioneer Valley Coalition
Against Secrecy and Torture (PVCAST). The purpose of this is to focus our limited time and resources on the pressing questions
of closing Guantánamo and ending extraordinary rendition and torture by the US government. I will notify you of PVCAST meetings
and events and urge you to attend and participate. We will continue to send out email and hardcopy Urgent Action letters.
